Basics of Up Rigging

This is a 4 day entry level course focusing on fall protection and arena up-rigging for students without prior rigging experience. The training is intended for workers physically capable of working at height while using a fall arresting system and lifting 50lbs.

The first two days of classroom instruction will be held at the Seattle Labor Temple on Tuesday, August 8 and Wednesday August 9 . Each day will begin at 9 am, last 8 hours with a one hour walkaway lunch midday.

The second two days of practical learning will occur at White River Amphitheater in Auburn on Thursday, August 10 and Friday, August 11. Each day will begin at 9 am, last 8 hours with a one hour walkaway lunch midday.

Students must attend all four days to receive instructional credit.
