Basic Lighting Console Programming – ETC Eos Family

This course is about basic lighting console programming, with a focus on ETC Eos Family software. Participants will learn a brief history of lighting consoles and their influence on modern control surfaces and gain a basic understanding of basic lighting networks. Students will learn to patch fixtures, basic cue programming with conventional and LED fixtures, and program basic effects. The course will provide the participant with the ability to perform basic programming and console operation of ETC Eos consoles.

This class will be held on February 28, 2024 and February 29, 2024 at Seattle Rep in the PONCHO Forum from 9am to 5pm with one hour walk away lunches. The class will be taught by B Yamashita, Head Electrician for the Bagley Wright Theater at Seattle Rep, with assistance by Britt Lawrence, Swing Technician and Assistant Electrician for the Bagley Wright Theater at Seattle Rep.

This class will be limited to eight (8) students. Students will be paired up two (2) students to a console.  The final class list will be confirmed on February 19, 2024 after which cancellations will not be eligible for refunds.
