Flyrail Operation & Weight Loading #4

This class will focus on the safe operation of a counterweight fly system. Students will hang, balance and fly scenery under the direction of the instructors. Emphasis will be on the safe communication between the flyman and the rest of the crew. There will be a discussion of system and component capacities and maintenance. Also, the safe use of rope and common knots used in the theatre will be covered. Students will be taught the proper procedure for loading/unloading counterweights on the arbor.

This a a 3 to 4 hour class that will be taught at the Paramount Theatre on Wednesday, June  18 at the Paramount Theatre from 3 pm to 7 pm.  There is another session of this same class in the morning. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR BOTH!
