     8:00 am - 12:00 pm This class will focus on the safe operation of a counterweight fly
    system.. July 3, 8am to Noon at the Village Theater in Issaquah. 

This class will focus on the safe operation of a counterweight fly system. Students will learn the basics of how to hang, balance and fly scenery under the direction of an instructor. Emphasis will be on safe communication between the flyman and the rest of the crew. There will be a discussion of system and component capacities and maintenance. Also, the safe use of rope and common knots used in the theatre will be covered. Students will be taught the proper procedure for loading/unloading counterweights on the arbor.

PPE: Work gloves will be helpful for loading bricks and pulling rope.

This morning class will be taught on July 3 from 8am to 12pm on Friday July 3 at the Village Theatre in Issaquah. Do NOT register for both classes.
