This course provides a general introduction to the role of Child Actor Guardian in theatrical settings. Attendees will learn the overarching components of the job, from prep week through rehearsals and performances. Topics covered will include recommended administrative duties, how to help children be successful in rehearsals, performance requirements, communicating with parents, and how to be an advocate for the young people in your care. This class will be held via Zoom on Monday, June 16th, between 6p-8p, and taught by Amy Jurkiewicz, who has worked as a Child Actor Guardian in Seattle for over 10 years. Course will include a Q&A session.
