SEWING 201 hosted by Patti Emmert & Jim Westerland

PARTICIPANTS NEED TO HAVE TAKEN THE SEWING 101 CLASS OR HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF A SEWING MACHINE.

The goal of this two-day workshop is to provide the students with basic sewing skills beyond how to use the sewing machine. The students will learn the skills needed to use a commercial sewing pattern. Students will be able to read, lay-out and cut out a sewing pattern. Students will have the opportunity to stitch their project together using the sewing skills learned in the sewing 101 class.  By the end of the 2nd class, the students will have the confidence to do these skills on their own. Students will be working in pairs – if you and a friend or coworker want to take the class together, you can work as a team.

This workshop will take place in the Conference Room at The Seattle Labor Temple on Thursday August 6th and Friday August 7th from 10AM to 3PM.

The Registration is for both sessions of the workshop and is limited to 10 attendees.
