ZIPPERS hosted by Patti Emmert & Jim Westerland

PARTICIPANTS NEED TO HAVE TAKEN THE SEWING 101 & SEWING 201 CLASS OR HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO SEW AND OPERATE A SEWING MACHINE.

The goal of this class is to provide the students with the skills, needed to install a zipper. They will learn about the different kinds of zippers there are, and what they are used for. Students will be shown several different ways zippers can be installed, depending on the type of zipper, fabric or project. By the end of the class, they will be able to put in a zipper accurately and with confidence. Students will be working in pairs – if you and a friend or coworker want to take the class together, you can work as a team.

This workshop will take place in the Conference Room at The Seattle Labor Temple on Saturday August 8th and  from 10AM to 2PM.

The Registration is for both sessions of the workshop and is limited to 10 attendees.
