Shop Math & Layout

Students will learn and demonstrate how to do foundational shop math, how to draw triangles, rectangles, and curved shapes, and knowledge of a “3” in Layout. Students will learn in a classroom style setting and will be assessed by the instructor at the end of the class with an opportunity to increase their official skill with Local 15.   Students are expected to have either passed the Reading Blueprints class or have a working understanding of blueprints.  This class will be offered at the New Labor Temple on Saturday, May 30 from 8 am to 5 pm with a one hour walk away lunch. This class is a prerequisite for these upcoming classes: Beginning Welding  and Beginning Building.
